Modded Servers Question

Are there modded servers for S4 Classic L/O prior to the overhaul or will official SDK client will only contain private servers that are post the overhaul?

I dont think so, for now it seems modded servers on sdk are limited to s5 basics if you know what i mean, like a starting point, with schematics and very few maps. I am trying to make a modded server that is close to s4 before the s5 changes, but there is no information available and also no lava map, iron map, worm map, spires map so its not going too well, its also very hard to change the changes they made to things like grapple hooks and placing things anywhere on walkers, so hopefully one of the modders can pull this off and then be nice enough to make the information available to all of us, but i dont think this is happening anytime soon.

The modkit does not work correctly atm, and they are not very helpful on the discord as usual, all the current mods have some issue somewhere, will need to wait for DK to fix it, which will probably be another year.

and no you Cannot do modded season 4 yet, but it should be reasonably possible later on, there is no reason the SDK could not have the ability to switch, same as we do.

and no you Cannot do modded season 4 yet, but it should be reasonably possible later on, there is no reason the SDK could not have the ability to switch, same as we do.

Furthermore, as another post says, we have around 45 people playing this game now, to be so rude and dismissive of those still around trying to keep the game going, is just more of the type of attitude that allowed this game, which could have been great, to die on the vine.

DUDE, the only thing you do is tell people the discord is no good, players like you are the reason every time a new player comes in, they think it's no good to stay, they will never get help, or that DK will never fix things.
It's more than just opinion if it is only ever negative, and sometimes false, like many others you are salty about how things went with DK and LO, but constantly being negatively inclined to be the way you are, that only hurts the player base more.
I have 2 coding degrees, not everything is quite as broken as you say, and most mod devs list known bugs, so do most servers, let the game live, because the only thing you are doing here is making things worse.

and honestly man I have the right to be here same as you, so as long as you continue to tell people what is seen as false info, considering i got help in discord just fine lol,
i will still be here.

Ok. So how do we get started at all ? Seems like we have to learn how to use Unreal engine to even get started? That is a hell of a learning curve to play a game.

Yes, the documentation you can find (after dealing with the discord) is very simple and does not describe much.

finally I just wish the DEV's stopped messing with the game Back on day 1 when there was SPICE/ SDC/ Desert Wolves more of the OG clans. we had 30k strong players minimum and now every OG player is trying to find something to fix the itch. this game still has so much potential. it just feels like the Devs couldn't see they were making a bad impact on their game after players had sunk like 100's to 1000 hours + into this game. if they actually go back to the whole LURE of the game and give players their creativity back and just add a PVE/PVP flag button with a battle countdown and get rid on these bloody schematics and bring back tablets but have it so the terminal is locked per player so if anyone try's to steal from your like back in the day they only see their crafting inventory instead of stealing yours

I agree, I have had very long discussions on this, and I personally feel that season 2 BUT allowing each clan a private home tile that cannot be attacked so they could re-gear and enter pvp again after a timer has passed, would have been the best of both worlds.
