The same words I've read about Dayz Standalone, but look at thousands of mods fixed and changed ALL the game! Just look around... Arma 2-3, Dayz, Skyrim, etc. Modders can made this game 5 stars. I believe... Just someone in owners group must make one right choice and start making money on this game!
Modders time would be better spent making a similar game from scratch. Then they'd have creative freedom and wouldn't have to deal with devs that literally hate their own playerbase.
I'm honestly considering attempting it myself as last oasis was made with unreal engine which I have experience with. Would be a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong ass passion project though.
