Studio sold out?

If you go to the store page and click on the studio it no longer directs to the donkey crew page. It takes you to snail games which owns things like ark. So did they finally give up and just sell the IP? If so I am glad because they were obviously too incompetent to complete the game.

Say what you want about snail games but at least they have the resources and the genre experience to potentially make this game great again. Not hoping for anything but its interesting to see at least.

Snail was the money giver behind Last Oasis since Donky Crew relocated their studio to Poland. But starts to looks as if somebody finally pulled the plug somewhere.

Lol whatta relocated?;) Studio was started in Poland, next move to deutschland and Ukraine. Now is end of it. DC is dead.
Two former employees sometimes try to do something else (a graphic designer and a coder) but they didn't work on the original project anyway, so the game won't improve and past bugs won't be fixed. They can only add something or restart the game, starting, for example, another seasonSry.. RIP Donkey Crew

All honesty though, they prob sold IP so they can bury heads in sand and pretend LO never happened under their watch and the new owner has zero intent to do anything with it.

If the new owner revert to S4 and fix the lack of content, balancing the ownership of the territories (making the defense of "tourists" more rewarding and so), this game can bring back the 30k daily players it had.

Not really. Florian Hofreither is/was from Austria, thats correct. But back then DC was already international and spread over multiple countries. Afaik Ireland was their first real office.

I think they briefly worked together in Austria. I remember them having rented a studio and doing some mocap recordings.
North Ireland was when they got that Green Man Gaming deal
