How safe is a Stone Base?

In Theory: would it make sense to have a stone base as a static base on an oasis? What are the pro and cons?

Pro - most randos won't get into it easily or quickly

Con - someone determined can get into it and loot everything, not super fast, so should give you time to react if you are online (and by react I mean either panic and run around in circles screaming, or possibly stop them).

Moral of the story: Log your stuff out for the night if you have anything you don't want to lose. Even if you do use it, don't make it super obvious to find, as you are inviting people to come raid your stuff.

do double or tripple walls of stone. to do this you will take a roof tile and angle it downwards towards your wall to blanket it, do this all the way down to the foundation. now to penetrate your walls they have through 2. and most importantly pinwheel your doors and have more than one door! doors can be entered at half health so the idea is to have a door and then a wall, turn right and put another door so if they break the first door they cant aim at the second door and instead have to go threw a wall. goodluck! also dont forget to double wall your cieling, do the same roof tile trick, if you have a silur or balang double wall the floor to.

depends how big you make a base, my balang had double walls and floor. you may go over the block limit for mobile bases but the idea is if you are gonna stay a while then over build and deconstruct the extra walls when you decide to move to a new tile. if you are building permant bases then put medium wood in the center foundation so that you can easily pack up everything when you leave instead of dragging each piece out onto a new platform when you leave

Invest on higher tier doors, for eg. if you have decide on a stone base and the doors can be clay. Clay gives 9k hp and it does not cost much just for a clay door or two.

Stone are very easy to break in, and lately a lot of clans do offline raiding. Best not to keep stuff out. Or at least keep it in silur form. I find cement bases easy to maintain as i keep it open only when im doing somthing. if its not producing its packed.

We had opened q75 cement wall so if some1 wants to get in, they will.

Always do double doors, and try to have the maintenance chest in a position out of reach of floating mines as that can kill a maintenance chest and ur base will decay
