Hello, is the update of the 5 with self Hosting means Last Oasis will be playable offline ?

i think in this case they mean self hosting as in clans can so dedicated server... u might be able to run a local server off your pc and connect and password it depends how good your pc is

If you have a home network then yes you would be able to connect to another pc with a router... without having the internet...

Seems a bit complicated to install self Hosting, from what I've read in the update! A weekend of Last Oasis config lol

No you cant create and use the server offline, its still connected to the back end of Last oasis.

SteamCMD is super easy to use, if they allow it, instead of requiring a Nitrado BS pay-for. Last Oasis update code for a windows ver of SteamCMD would likely be:

steamcmd +login anonymous +app_update 920720 validate +quit

At present, still throws an error on anonymous use, so they may require a user/pass connected to your steam acct that owns the game.

I've tried to config it, but failed excruciatingly lol! I'll probably wait the 5 to see if I give it an other try...
Is it possible that one you send me a txt file with all the steps ? I'm asking a lot I know..
I've stop the 10$ for nitrado, months ago, to expensive for a single player, but I wish to play again

That’s because you actually don’t get the software in this way. You go in your steam and look at your library, untick games and tick tools, then look for last oasis dedicated and install

Yes currently got 30 tiles, spread across a couple of ryzen servers

https://myrealm.lastoasis.gg/Account/SignIn you need to open the back end of last oasis with your steam id. click on settings and create key. you will need 1 key per server. take note of the key and also your game server registration key, which is at the top.

you will need to create a .bat (batchfile) in the folder where your files are for the dedicated server.

NoLiveServer -EnableCheats -backendapiurloverride="backend.last-oasis.com" -identifier=Myserver1 -port=5555 -CustomerKey=put game key here the one at the top of settings -ProviderKey=putserverkeyhere -slots=100 -QueryPort=27015 -OverrideConnectionAddress=123.456.789.123

delete where applicable and put your 2 keys in and your ip address.

you can change the two ports to whatever suits, and you need to do the portforwarding etc

then launch with the batchfile

after you done all that go back to the backend of last oasis and add a tile to the grid and you should be dandy
