Hi Mate

i had a question about high lvl clay spots. i had seen a couple of posts on reddit saying they existed have you ever found one ?

also is there quality nurrs ? to get chitin for quality lumber and quarry mills ?

i host a private server for testing
do you know if they stealth changed the quality gain for certain resources.
on my crater i have a big patch of 97 bone,2 bits of 80+ obsidian, some 80 fiber(i can harvest 84 with a 88 sythe) and a lone piece of 80 iron.
i have been harvesting them all once every 24 hours to build up some 80 iron. now the bone is a 97 and the iron is only 55
they are maturing at different rates ???? if the sever had reset it would have reset the 97 bone as well. have you noticed this at all..

Not seen a high quality clay spot, but if you upgrade your quarry you will get high quality clay.

I have not noticed the change in quality, but they might have changed it so iron takes longer to get to lvl 100.

i have been round 4 hard maps now mapping clay deposits with boxes. i have done over 200 spots. either they are a super rare spawn or the video i saw was a fake some how.

i have got the max lvl excavator i can. im making it with 100 wood and fiber weave and torque battery in the 90's but the lvl of the ground also seems to effect the lvl of the excavator because it is part of the recipe. i think my lvl is 71.. should be in the 90's but the ground lvl lowers it.

also have you ever found quailty chitin ?

atm i am trying to collect lvl 80 iron for a high lvl pick. so i can get stone over lvl 80 and im trying to create a quarry as high lvl as i can to see what happens when i stick it next to the one piece of 80+ iron i have. the quarry will be low lvl if there is no quality chitin it take 500 which will lower the lvl loads.. if i put in 80 iron (50 ingots ouch) and 300 100 wood should get it quite high.

i have to say the quality system is unnecessarily complex. having the axe go to base 5 but having the pick and shythe only go to 4. then making you slow lvl the pick and shythe over 80 in order to get fiber and stone over 80 ?? why for gods sake.. just make the master pick base 5 same for the shythe or and a master shythe ??

Yes, remember that you can dismantle and get high quality of the things you only got low level. I have done it to many crafting stations to get them higher lvl.

i was doing that at the start. i found some nice 100 bone and mushrooms so the only thing im really missing now is the iron for the end tier pick and large buildings like the quarry and high lvl clay for the adv furnace lvl

Got an update for you on my quality quarry plan... looks like quality quarrys are broken. got a lvl36 next to an 80+ piece of iron and i only get lvl 1 looks like the same problem that the saw blade had at the start..

Seems like there is alot of bugs in the game. Would be nice to be able to get lvl 100 on evrything.

Quality clay and chitin are both a thing just like rupu vine they are hard to find. We had 1 of the 2 crabs on a hard tile that would spawn that was quality. In over 1k hours in game that is the only one I have seen. As for the clay spots they are hard to find only ever seen about 15 of them and only found 2 on my own that were close to max level.
