Titan is such a target though for any solo player... It's ridiculously slow, barely climbs anything. Every encounter with hostile players you'll be full looted, if they are really angry hulled too. Most big walkers are designed for groups. Anything bigger than a stiletto, tob, or mollusc for any solo player is an overkill. Titans are really only good for clan crafting platform with crafting modules. I'd argue that buffalo is enough for that purpose too. That's why Titans dont really have a niche.
400 frags in an ancient fab supposedly gives you less overall tablets. 275 frags and 1k torque gives you almost always 3 tabs and usually more. More cost effective as a solo too.
Torque is cheap, you can get 50k easily, also storing it is very easy as well. Extractors can be packed and store 5k each. Or the toolpod inventory can be used to store torque (likely an oversight) all 10 slots in the toolpod can hold 10k each if i recall.
At the end of the day though wanting a titan is the most foolish choice you could make as a solo in this game. You will gain literally NOTHING from having, or using, it. You will be a literal target and be raided damn near the second you zone in or shortly after if anyone sees you.
You will likely use it as a giant PvE ship covered in chests and crafting stations. Just a giant target man. Aim for something more realistic for a solo. Dinghy, Tob, Stilletto, Mollusk. Anything bigger is asking for trouble that you will have no chance in hell of gaining back that loss in walker and stations/gear/resources in a realistic amount of time as a solo.
** Having thought about it more I want to add that your also not considering the cost of the upgrades which are arguably required for all the bigger walkers. That's another 50 - 100 frags I believe
The grind is oh so real. **
1 circuit around usually yields 1-3 despawnable fabricators. They seem to spit
