How/Where to drink water in the tutorial?

Hey guys, I am in the tutorial, in the first steps, yet, of the game. It wants me to drink water, but the water I drink from cactus does not fits the quest. Do I have to find a river or lake? If so, where do I find it? I am in South America Oasis.

You need to make a campfire. You can cook cactus in there to get water.

If you press F3 off and on, you should get a little box up top left that tells you the steps needed to complete the quest, in this case making water from a campfire, the f3 menu likes to dissapear alot, so you may have to press F3 a few times

Or, if you don´t have a Campfire you can just EAT cactus, is a small portion of water, of course, but is water! :)

I drunk water from cactus, but this does not fits the quest, unfortunately. It does not concludes, if I do that. :(

You need to follow the instructions in the tutorial.

I have simular problem.
Im on xbox series x in the tuturial and i boil water and where it says consume 2 boiled water i boiled some and it let me consume 1 from fire (i dont have bottle yet) but when i try to do exactly the same again it dosent work so i cant complete the tutorial.This is bugged as hell and if they dont sort it out soon they will be giving plenty of refunds including mine.

Cant drink "water" if your at or near full on your water meter. Wait for it to go down a bit and try again.
Things like cactus or aloe that give water when ate can be used even if your at max water.
