*****EXPLOIT***** allowed by Developer

Quick everyone take advantage of this exploit because the developer won't do anything about it!

May 4th i was experiencing service disconnects much like everyone else, so i drove my mollusk walker to the log out area. The server indicated I had logged out to the lobby but apparently i hadn't because a friend found my walker and base raided and my body half dead.

Others are using the server disconnects as an exploit to raid others.

I submitted a bug ticket to report the problem and received this;

"While we are doing our best to ensure a pleasant experience to all players, Last Oasis is an Early Access game still in active development. Therefore, you may encounter many bugs and technical errors. Dedicating time and resources to restore players' lost Walker and materials due to bugs would take precious time from actually fixing the causes of these issue."

Yeah, you wont get anything replaced, plus, honestly there has to eventually be a wipe, too many exploits

The devs keep saying over and over they will not wipe even with all the duped goods all over the place, games already ruined because of all the Duping, they just dont wanna admit they messed up

Werent they wiping clans that had 1 or more players cheating?

I've only seen 1 clear instance of cheating/duping/exploiting, w/e and it was a Falco made of iron, and the players made of iron lol.

[8:30 PM] Kota: If you have knowledge of a way to dupe, and the ability to record your play time. Do so and send it to the devs. That's all we can do atm to help alongside reporting dupers when we see them.

the information is out there, just gotta find it. What's the point in wiping, if the people who know how to dupe just dupe again? wiping is a one day solve. Fixing the problem is a forever solve.

I love the assumption that the devs don't care and won't fix it simply because they didn't snap their fingers and magically fix the problem instantly. Why so childish man? You think if you're mean to the devs then they'll be like, "OOOHHH OK I GUESS WE HAVE TO FIX IT INSTEAD OF SITTING HERE ON OUR HANDS".

Also videos people link can be OLD videos that are uploaded recently, i.e., after they were banned.

What about the fact big clans sell loads of tablets to another member of their own clan via the trader giving a chance to drop free tablets into the proxy walker that claimed the oasis (this can be done for any item not just tablets). Thats literally a game mechanic thats happening right now...

There needs to be incentive for people to show devs how exploits work that benefit the exploiting player more than the duped items and benefits from using the exploits. Whether its custom clan flags, unique skins, whatever. Look at how companies reward hackers for exposing security flaws by giving them cash. The same mentality needs to be applied to exploits in games otherwise you rely on your own QA team to find them or the generosity of the people who found the exploit.

Hopefully after they finish patching their database (seems to be taking forever.... but hopefully worth it), unexpected server crashes will become extremely rare. So this issue will pretty much go away.

Actually they WILL ban for duping, if you see something LIKE a large crate full of 1100 tablets of all the same type or suspect the sketch, record it and sent it in <- this is what got this entire Clan banned, down below.

and also during the disconects you would have noticed the several rollbacks and should have checked instead of wailing here days later to ppl that just arnt interested

It is good that they banned this clan BUT, offered to talk with them. While something like this could be a dupe, there is a small chance of it not being the case, same with most resources tbh, with how easy it is to get flots/currancy some people are playing the "auction house game" and spend many hours doing nothing but, going from Trade station to Trade station, gathering cheap and selling for more or gathering an item and if you have several people doing that within your clan, things can stack up over time.

As far as the "exploit" with the log out, when server was crashing several times a day, yeah, no thanks. I myself just havent played while the servers were doing that, will wait till they are stable again, thanks.
