Safe logout did not work and I lost everything

Did the safe logout like the codex says to do, waited the timer, and next when I log in, I am dead, and my walker is destroyed. GG

Report this on their site don't just complain here. Also next time try going to edge of the map and leaving the oasis, that seems to work better.

happened to me too, logged out, started a new person. funny thing was, i was standing by my newly made Dhingy... LOL fun times in an alpha test. Oh well.

I want to bump this by saying I safe logged out by going to edge of map, and when I logged back on today, sure enough, all my gear was gone and my walker was already on the edge of the map?
Other players in chat were reporting the same result.
Seems like safe logout doesn't work 100% of the time, and that seems like a pretty major issue.
