Dragging Crates With Harpoon

I use the flint bolt and i cannot drag it. It doesn't show a rope or anything. Do i need something else?

yes there is a rope harpoon you can make out of the flint bolt one, you need to research it first and then it will be next to the flint bolt in the ammo section of the crafting menu from what i remember it costs 2 hide and some Rupu vine as well as the bolt

flint bolt is not a harpoon.

Once you start dragging you can try to swing it around and crash the crate against objects in game and or run over it to damage it until it opens.

I tryed attaching my grapling hook to a crate and drove away with my Dingi. First it didnt move at all and the rope was stretching, then it katapulted the crate away at the horizon. To far to even bother. Maybe someone else got lucky over there...

i find getting an object between your walker and the box, then pulling it against said object breaks it pretty fast
