Crashes on launch

Every time I run the game it is says wolfsp.exe has stoped running, anybody have any idea why?

wolfenstein mp works, but sp doesn't. it works on other computers that ive tried, just not mine. i have updated my drivers, deleted cfg, validated, reinstall and nothing works.

btw i have win8.1 intel HD4000

Chill Is trying to get you to install a virus. The proof is to go to any offical Valve website There will be a lock by Valve Co. in green That website doesnt have it. sure..... It might be a community made site but then theres a store on that site so..... Also that guy who said it worked is most likely someone working for him.

Anyway, For me I cant even find the folder for Wofenstein. Also It works when I click *Play Multiplayer* But then I cant Play singleplayer.

well the link to the patch dont work its a dead link. also i just bought this game and im playing on a brand new computer and single player crashes like everyone else. any help would be appreciated.

Today might be your lucky day! I found this website : http://www.markshan.com/knightmare/downloads.htm

At the bottom, you will find a patch for Return to Castle Wolfenstein, one that is easy to apply (just copy-paste the content of the zip file in your game directory). It worked for me (on Windows 10 btw)

ok, so i don't know what happened, but it works for me now. What happened was that I never played the game for about 3 months, and when i installed it again recently it worked. This is after updates for Win10

these patches allow SP to start but the menu is like a slide show and loads incredibly slow. cant even get to play yet.

laptop but can play games like CS:GO fine so its plenty powerful.

I don't know why, but my game now runs after downloading and installing the nGlide wrapper (Quake uses it by default). Really hope this helps anyone here. :3

Yes installing nglide wrapper solved the issue for me as well. Thanks for that suggestion.
