I'm probably going to catch hell for saying this on a Steam forum, but I think I prefer the version on my xbox. If only because it has the prologue missions. There are an extra 7 missions at the beginning of the campaign in egypt before you are captured and taken to Castle Wolfenstein. Is there anyway to play them on the PC version?

I guess only emulating Xbox or PS2 version (though trying to emulate Xbox version would be much much more difficult than PS2 one).

Xbox was sadly the better version..when i switched to pc i bought a copy of rtcw and was quickly saddened to learn you didnt start in egypt...and that i couldnt find a mod to add those levels

I believe that PC version is better at this. You see console versions were released later and missions were created after release on PC. In console versions you get to get upgrade for finding secrets. That is great. But the story you see you get too early to all the unnatural stuff but it is nice to see how nazis awakened zombies...and...you get to fight in Afrika which is not in many games (Thank GOD for Medal of Honor Allied Assault, Breaktrough and Sniper Elite 3...only singleplayer games I have fought in Afrika...)

On Xbox there are more enemies. I would really love to see the Shephard robotic dogs in video, I have seen those witchers, arabs but have not seen X-labs dogs in action. Also there is shotgun weapon...what I would give for a video of X-labs level on Xbox version...

Maybe you could help me and record somehow X-labs mission on your xbox? Would really love to see it. It is my great wish :D I have the game bought for X-box and even for PS2 even tho I do not own and never owned a console :D

I agree, the Xbox version was superior. The prologue missions aren't that great, but it's extra gameplay! Plus, there's a few extra enemies, and you have access to all six episodes from Wolf3D on the Xbox port. The HUD was also a tiny bit better - not as plain.
