Well, Deathshead is in this game, so it might be good to familiarize yourself with series, but Return to Castle is REALLY good.

Not really, since the prologue of New Order will be at Castle Wolfenstein and it will be like a "Previously on Wolfenstein". But I highly suggest that you buy this one and the 2009 part, since they are both good and New Order will have references to both of them. Plus this game is amzing, don't mind the graphics.
