Can I get a console command to noclip to the truck or something? Theres only 1 guard left and hes at the big doorway that the truck drives through I assume? cant get to the truck without alerting him so my game is permanently ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Any help would be apreciated, and yes the alarm next to him is dead.

To noclip go to the games properties and click Set Launch Options...

Type in the following,

set sv_cheats 1

Then in game you can bring up the game's console by using the ~ key, afterwards you can use "/noclip" to move around freely. Here is a short list of other commands you might find helpful,

God mode /god
Disable enemy AI /notarget
All weapons /give all
Show all commands /cmdlist

It can be done, but you have to do a lot of crawling, use the ambient sound and you definately need to pick up the Snooper - without it, the noise alerts the guards and the mission is a bust. To get past the guard at the end - the only enemy you MUST leave alive in the level, you have to hitch a ride in the back of the truck from the depot (make sure you take out the sentry patrolling the water tower first) ... it took me 6 attempts to get it right ... since then, I can do it every time :)

Paderborn is hard at the beginning and the end, look at alternative ways to get the drop on the lookouts and the general who suddenly appears at the window (secret passages are a must to win here) ...

I agree with iddqd. I was doing a quick replay and it was literally impossible. Usually the last guard walks around and you can sneak behind the square generator things to the truck area. This time, he was always in the alert phase and stood looking around with suspicion. He would 100% spot me no matter what I tried. After 200+ tries, I gave up and realized that this sometimes happens due to an AI glitch. If you completely restart the level (should be slightly easier the second time), the problem is usually fixed. Ignore everyone who says you just need to keep trying, they just haven't experienced the glitch and how frustrating it is. If the last guard NEVER lets you go without detection, then it's the glitch.

Is this a glitch though, if you can't get around him because you've placed him in an alerted state ? Usually this would happen if you dropped the guy from the water tower when he is on the side facing the guy at the truck.

On the first try the game stole most of my guns, but I was really shocked at how well I did and almost beat the level but obviously without most of my stuff I failed. 2nd try I got my stuff back after reloading a save and it was good. But yea that level was sooo painfully hard at points.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥... no cheats needed. Just some skills. I get trough this great game few times, on all difficulty levels. And no cheats. See. This is problem with old games. They are too difficult for those sissy "gamers" nowadays.

I agree on your point about modern gamers, but there is a bug that occasionally makes the level impossible to beat, you'll get detected no matter what.

You don't have to kill every guard? Sometimes i just run from behind the building into the back of the truck, and they activate the alarm but i still finish the mission

There is no AI bug in that level. It is possible that the last guard - just like any guard here - can be on alert but not show any visible clues until you get close. If you find that the last guard always spots you, its means you screwed up earlier.

I recommend to save often using different slots in that level.

when i was 9 I couldn't win that map without cheats, but recently I passed it without them
