Game crashing on start up
Hello I was wondering if a useful soul could possibly help me :)

Every time I start rtcw it seems to crash, i've got the error code. Could this be due to having a dual monitor setup with different resolutions and refresh rates?

Error code:
Wolf 1.32 win-x86 May 1 2002

Out of the box, RTCW struggles with higher resolutions. If you changed the resolution, you'll get this error. The common solution is to install RealRTCW, which is a free mod for original game. That is the best permanent solution, so I'll post the link below, but to get your game up and running again right now...

Delete the file: "wolfconfig.cfg"

You can find the file here:
C:\ Program Files (x86) \ Steam \ SteamApps \ common \ Return to Castle Wolfenstein \ Main

When you start the game again, it will rewrite the file correctly and should solve your problem.

If you're concerned about deleting the file, copy it to a safe place first.
Once your issue is fixed, you don't need to keep that saved copy.
It has incorrect values and is useless now anyway.
