Does anyone still play this game online?

I bought this game because I have nostalgia for the single player mode back when i was a teen but it doesn't work. However multiplayer works but there is a lack of opponents and i never got a chance to play online when I owned this game years ago because back than I had no internet connection.

I heard great things about this game's multiplayer and want to try it out since I can't get single to work. Do people still play this game? The lobby's are empty. If anyone is interested in playing a match with me, send a friend request or post on this thread (and I'll befriend you ASAP). I am available afternoon in Eastern time zone (esp after 3).

As indicated in the guide, you can use SplatterLadder to check bot-less servers

Thanks man! Also if possible can you provide a guide to playing the single player mode on Windows 10?

You have guides for that, but I suggest using ioRtCW:
https://github.com/iortcw/iortcw/releases

It also has MP binaries, but since MP works better and that some servers are still PunkBuster protected (and that custom binaries can't be distributed with copyrighted software), keep vanilla ones

wow rtcw is still here.. I have the original pc version still in the box on the shelf.. sitting next to my duke nukem3D.. I remember playing the original RTCW online, happy penguine server, all the bani mods and gold rush.. I hope this game stays alive.. Online and campaign.. Miss playing online on happy penguine coal depot..

I played on a beach server today and there were a few real people, but omnibot bots also have random pings, so don't get tricked. It's easy to figure out they are bots since they move and act like clueless morans. I got in off the official server list. I was told that things are more active in the evening (no clue where the server is hosted), and also said to check on weekend evenings. GL. RTCW 4 life!

Talk about nostalgia... this is the first game I made money in tournaments on, Id skip work just to play and eat Burger King.. lol

Have you set your in-game server search from "Local" to " Internet", Koper? It's located in the top-left corner of your in-game browser.

no almost no one plays and almost all servers are USA servers

one server has a ♥♥♥♥ nazi admin called krausse and bans you for no reason
