Crash Instancely upon starts up. i even install the Return to Castle Wolfenstein Single Player v1.42d Unofficial Patch

Yeah, so when i download this Patch notes, it was in a compress zip folders so i extract or copy all of the package contents into the Wolfenstein steam folder, needly to say, the game still crash.
My Return Castle Wolfenstein didnt have any safe folder cause i cant even lauch the game. help please.

Have you tried to launch it once with admin rights through the right click?

Else what're your specs?

How would i launch the game as admin?
And by specs, do you mean my computer systems?

I had a similar problem, i set my resolution to the 2040x option and it would crash every time i started. I unistalled through steam but it kept happening.

I went into my steam>steamapps>common folder and deleted the wolfienstine content, then reinstalled, and it worked, it returned to the default resolution and it didnt crash

The game: Launch...Loading pad...white screen...crash.

So yeah, i deletes the RTCW in the common folder and re-install the game... still crashs...

Right click on the EXE file, Launch as administrator

ok, so running adminstration on the exe, i am assuming that is the Wolf.SP
it console said "cant load defualt. cfg"

The Processor is Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6200U CPU @ 2.30GHz 2.40 GHz
The Videos Graphic card is... there 2 of them.
one is AMD RAdeon R5 M335
the other is Intel(R) HD Graphics 520.

The game is looking in System32 for its main folder >.>

Can you try ioRtCW? https://github.com/iortcw/iortcw/releases (iortcw-1.51c-win-x86.zip if you have save games, else you can go x64)

Also you have the 1.32 (GotY version); latest is 1.41, available on the same page (patch-data-141.zip)

Update: Copy all content iortcw-1.51c-win-x64.zip didn't helps, so probably not that.

After upgrading your 'RtCW' game version to '1.41', try following these instructions, mate:
