ioRtCW supplies custom binaries for MP as well as SP, 32 and 64 bits:
https://github.com/iortcw/iortcw/releases
What you want to do is go to your Game Directory. Since you're on Steam, this is likely in Steam Library/steamapps/common/Return to Castle Wolfenstein.
Open the "Main" folder.
Open the config file "wolfconfig_mp.cfg" in any word editor, such as notepad.
Find the phrase seta r_customheight "xxx"seta r_customwidth "xxx"seta r_mode "x", where x is whatever resolution your game is at. Change the values of the numbers to whatever custom resolution you want (e.g. seta r_customheight "1080"seta r_customwidth "1920") and make sure you set r_mode= -1 (without the space between - and 1). This allows you to set custom resolutions.
If everything is in one giant paragraph and it's difficult to find that phrase, use ctrl+f and type in "height" or "width" to automatically go to it.
When you're done, just save the file, close it, and run up the game.
You can do the same process for singleplayer, but there's a different unofficial patch you can install for that instead.
