Literally just set up 6.3 on my machine Wolf! :D
Guess I'll have to overwrite the old files when I get a chance.
Yep, it's my fault, HB, I missed Hellbaron's original release of version 6.3 and was late in advertising it. That's why this new version seems to be so quick to arrive.

Sorry about that, amigo.

No worries Wolf!
Do have one issue though. Copied the necessary files into my Main folder, (even the ioRTCW only autocfg), hit launch, and was presented with: Unsupported OpenGL version (1.1.0), OpenGL 1.2 is required.
I'll post my console log in a sec
Bypassing CD checks

Couldn't read rtcwhistory.
Cmd_AddCommand: map_restart already defined

This is a question that's more for Mateos' expertise, HB, I know very little about these types of problems.

However, there's a website with a very well-explained article for "OpenGL" problems, (it doesn't take hours to read it either :) ).

Here's a link: https://buffered.com/support/solve-opengl-error/

The problems usually seem to be graphics card driver-related.

Understood. Does Mateos ever monitor these forums?
If so, my NVIDIA driver is up to date, and the problem only seems to occur when the ioRTCW only autoexec is utilized (none of the new files or other autoexecs cause the issue).
The only other issue I can think of would be that my machine isn't powerful enough, but I think that's unlikely given the 16gb of RAM and i7 processor.

Yes, mate, he's here frequently. Hopefully he'll reply to you soon.

OS, specs? Weird that your hardware doesn't support that OpenGL version, even though it's very old it's still supported nowadays
Windows 10 pro. An i7 processor, 16 GB ram, nvidia GTX 980 video card. I have not tested it on linux under Proton but I know 6.3 was working on extreme
Is ioRtCW running well with the vanilla game?
If so, you should see with Venom dev
I've actually never tried io without Venom.

That could actually be your problem, HB, because the new versions of "RtCW Venom Mod" already have the "ioRtCW" files contained in them, if I'm not mistaken.
Hmm. So you're saying that if i'm following one of those guides on how to get ioRTCW/Venom running on my system, I would now just skip over io entirely and simply unzip the Venom?
Interesting if true, especially since I'm sure there's not a lot of running one without the other.
I'm not a 100% sure, HB, I'll ask Hellbaron about this and get back to you with the info'.
I was wrong, HB, about the "ioRtCW" files being included in "Venom Mod".
