Guess I'll have to overwrite the old files when I get a chance.
Sorry about that, amigo.
Do have one issue though. Copied the necessary files into my Main folder, (even the ioRTCW only autocfg), hit launch, and was presented with: Unsupported OpenGL version (1.1.0), OpenGL 1.2 is required.
I'll post my console log in a sec
----- Client Initialization -----
Couldn't read rtcwhistory.
Cmd_AddCommand: map_restart already defined
----- Initializing Renderer ----
Trying to load "renderer_sp_rend2_x64.dll" from "E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Return to Castle Wolfenstein"...
---- Renderer Initialization Complete ----
RTCWKEY found.
----- Client Initialization Complete -----
----- R_Init -----
SDL using driver "windows"
Initializing OpenGL display
Display aspect: 1.778
...setting mode -2: 1920 1080
Trying to get an OpenGL 3.2 core context
SDL_GL_CreateContext succeeded.
----- Client Shutdown (Client fatal crashed: Unsupported OpenGL Version (1.1.0), OpenGL 2.0 is required
) -----
RE_Shutdown( 1 )
Hunk_Clear: reset the hunk ok

However, there's a website with a very well-explained article for "OpenGL" problems, (it doesn't take hours to read it either :) ).
Here's a link: https://buffered.com/support/solve-opengl-error/
The problems usually seem to be graphics card driver-related.
If so, my NVIDIA driver is up to date, and the problem only seems to occur when the ioRTCW only autoexec is utilized (none of the new files or other autoexecs cause the issue).
The only other issue I can think of would be that my machine isn't powerful enough, but I think that's unlikely given the 16gb of RAM and i7 processor.
Yes, mate, he's here frequently. Hopefully he'll reply to you soon.
If so, you should see with Venom dev
That could actually be your problem, HB, because the new versions of "RtCW Venom Mod" already have the "ioRtCW" files contained in them, if I'm not mistaken.
Interesting if true, especially since I'm sure there's not a lot of running one without the other.
Here's Hellbaron's answer: https://www.moddb.com/mods/rtcw-venom-mod/downloads/rtcw-venom-mod-v60/#7318377
