the key to killing the nazi girls is to begin firing as you leave your cover, crouched. you can predict where they'll pop out too, this goes for most all the enemies really

I'm not sure about predicting where they'll pop out from as each time I seem to reload a quicksave they have change position slightly. It doesn't seem to be 100% consistant. I noticed this with other enemies throughout previous levels do this too.

Nothing wrong with it except when I poke my head round a corner to see a stone wall & no catsuit nazi girl only to then turn around & get a face full of bullets ha.

I also tried grenades after dying from previous attempts to see if they would help, but they started to do the same so it made things worse as I'm trying to hide behind cover with a lovely grenade sitting next to me hissing.

I found that when they roll across the floor is when I can unload on them & kill them, but not so easy when there's so many of them at once, when there's only 1 or 2 it's not so bad. They aren't stupid though as when I sat behind cover waiting for them to approach me they seemed to copy the same idea. That strategy failed, pretty clever.
get good. rely on fast reflexes. strafe, move fast.

Shooting when they cartwheel is the right idea. Also remember that crouching quiets your footsteps. Once you've been discovered, switch away from the silenced sten as it overheats too quickly, go full auto with the mp40. This is the first really difficult area of the game... and there are much harder areas later on (including more ninja nazis).

Yeah once I cleared the room & took out the grenadier at the top of the ladder the rest wasn't so bad. I'm now having to sneak through an open woodland past tall guard towers without being spotted.

I managed to get to the guard post where the alarm is thinking that would prevent any guards activating it, but the sniper spots me from the tower before I can even take more than a few steps causing the alarm to sound anyway.

Luckily I made 2 saves here so I might need to try something different & reload the other save.
Yeap, that part made my friend give up on the game completely. My advice is to sneak around the right side of the first area (the one with the lake and the bridge). go up the ladders and knife the guys in the towers. Remember that you can shoot the alarm boxes from a distance to disable them.

Once you get through the tunnel things get really tricky. Again sneak around the right side over the hill. Looking down there will be a camoflaged tent with two guards chilling out, and a dude patrolling left and right. Wait for that guy to walk away then run in and ice the two guards, then quickly the one walking away (where you will find the silenced sniper rifle.)

You've got it from there, just remember to approach the fenced-off camp from the left, there is a window you can use to get in. GLHF

if it's really THAT hard for you, just god mode it like I used to when I was a sissy

I did as you suggested as it was my only option & my 2nd save point to go back to. It was that guard tower which sounded the alarm until reaching the top I had no idea that there was another up there too. The other tower didn't have one.

The next part I found far easier. Took out the wandering guard then the gunner & finally the sniper up the tower. Now I'm about to approach the fenced area. Unfortunately I stuck to the right as I didn't want to go all way back from where I came which didn't work.

Problem though I'm having issues reloading my previous saves/quicksaves. The mouse cursor in game just starts 'ghosting' when I try to select a save point & quicksave is unresponsive so I have grey arrows all across the screen & nothing responds. I'll go back to it another time.

Frustrating but great mission. Anyone else who is stuck might find the walkthrough below helpful (I needed it to find the where the sniper rifle was ha).

just use the tricks I've been telling you! crouch and snipe with short bursts from your mp40 or sten, use scoped weapons when you can too (the fg42 is real good for this) strategically save health packs for when you really need them (even if you need to backtrack a bit). Really, the game isn't THAT hard

If I crouch then snipe I'm taking a lot of damage already just from crouching before I can even use the scope. In this game it's not possible to use the scope & move??? I got used to it but it's bloody annoying. Basically a sitting duck.

The problem on this particular level is that most enemies need to be sniped & they have perfect accuracy even to the point of x-ray vision & soaking up bullets in return I end up stun locked & blinded.

Health packs aren't the issue it's just the amount of damage the enemies can do to me. If I drop to around 70 HP I tend to restart depending on the situation sometimes I wait til I drop to 40 HP rarely any lower unless I'm rushing & know health packs are nearby.

It became extremely frustrating around the middle/end of the level with enemies doing so much damage (checked YT to see how much further I had til the mission was done) I just lost interest & the motivation to finish it. For the lowest setting it's just too hard, but I appreciate the helpful tips.

I wanted to go back & play some more of the other 2 newer Wolfenstein games, but not so sure now ha.

the newer ones are a totally different breed to that of RTCW, inferior too imo (well, The Old Blood brought back a little of the classic Wolfenstein vibes). I imagine when you watch the youtube videos you see how they play, maybe learn from that player's techniques? I don't know what else to tell you I've beaten the game a dozen times (first time I admit I God-mode cheated because I got frustrated like you before I learned how to play it proper).
Listening to this guy complain about sucking is really frustrating.

The only thing you're listening to is the voice in your head. Not sure why you would get so frustrated from reading something that doesn't even concern you?

Nah I can't use god mode even though it is (& was) tempting especially not the first time. Who knows maybe I'll give it another try, but I felt as though I'd reached my limit of what I was capable of. I def still wanna try the newer Wolfenstein's though.

"listening" and "reading" are often interchangeable when reacting to someone's comment
