four color doors?

I thought the four color doors would unlock when I found all four gems but they still haven't opened. I've also tried bringing four items to the door and it still doesn't work, how do I open them?

I think you have to open the 99 path door before

you have to get all 99 endings and all four gems go to the 99 paths door to achieve e.s.p.
