I had a similar issue but it was purple (down in one of the Skyands' towers). Exiting the game and restarting the game fixed it, so it's a rare rendering bug and nothing more.

Much more funny graphical artifacts and symptoms in general can be observed in almost any game as a result of something going wrong somewhere. Be it driver regression, creeping bugs or rare side-effects of dependency troubles.


Although you haven't told anything about how reproducible it is, it could still be an idea to open a ticket in the game's public bug tracking system. Include a link to the video and tell about your hardware and software environment, too.

I can't play the game because of that same exact bug. I was hoping there was a solution here but meh. Shame I can't refund it.

does it do well for what it is tho? An open world simulator in the same vein as a Deus Ex where you are allowed to co-operate with or kill anyone/anything? I am sure the mods help some of the issues that are current...right?

The days of being able to kill everyone and do what you please are long gone (since Risen 2). There is far less freedom than in true Sandbox games.
