How many extra fuel tanks to reach Thunderclap?

Tha game will let you add 50. But that's way more unused Ability Points than i'll ever have. I found that 5 Additional fuel tanks was enough to get Calaan's Light, or whatever it's called. If anybody that got Thunderclap recalls how many levels of Fuel Tank they had when they got it, I'd appreciate hearing from you.

You don't need ability points to apply extra jetpack fuel tanks.

That's very good to know. I suppose I should have noticed then when I did the first 5 tanks, but I didn't. Thanks.

As far as I recall, you need to have all upgrades. I think I made it exactly barely to the top with full upgrade.

I have all the Learning points applied. But I only have have 22 of 50 additional tanks. It sounds like I need to get 28 more. (Groans and whimpers)

can't get the everything-destroyer aka Thunderclap that easy, my friend. ;)

You can buy tanks. Repeatedly. They are cheap. And maybe you need to use the surroundings better to get higher up.

Or finish the changeling first - unlimited fuel awaits!

Armed with this guide, I actually had a good time doing this. I started out at maybe level 38, and I gained 3 levels while I collected the 30 or so that I had not already run across.
And then I got Thunderclap!
