If this game does not run on current Win 7 I dont buy.
If this game does not run on current Win 7 I dont buy.
Wenn dieses Spiel nicht von jemandem auf Win7 gespielt werden kann kaufe ich es nicht.

This is then in my opinion just only a gift for non-germans.
We dont need more playing bought people, we need some serious Gothic developement that does not get bought by big pubs.

I guess so. I don't know, it's like asking a ps5 game to work on a ps 1 console.
That's nothing alike. That would be a hardware related. Getting a ps1 game to run on a ps5 would be a software issue, but guess what, that's not outside the realms of possibility. Windows is software, not hardware.
Bro I said Ps5 games on Ps1 not Ps1 games on Ps5.
The Ps5 OS software wouldn't be functional on Ps1.

Exactly, but that would be because of the outdated hardware in a PS1. W10 should be able to run on a 20 year old PC's without any significant problems.

A 20 year old PC still has the same basic structure as one today, an old console like that however is not comparable to a ps5. Modern consoles are basically PC's with a locked OS.

No idea where 1% is coming from other than sarcasm. It's at least 20% when it comes to computers still running windows 7.

And it's not for paranoia. Later versions are just annoying to work with when it comes to customization and having all kinds of bloat you don't need and can't get rid of.

Then there's the UI. Don't lie. When you first saw that mobile looking OS for what was supposed to be a windows OS, most of you died a little inside.
As of january 2022 the windows 7 share of desktop pc's (not just running steam) is 11%.

If you have a long history in Steam gaming like me, and bought a lots of games you haven't played yet, you can't simply cannot abandon Win7 forever, because theres change for a huge number of your older games won't work, not even with compatibility mode. Forums are full of these cases already. Best to get a new rig for your newer games or have both OS on the same one.

new tech is not alltiem better.
the last nvidia ♥♥♥♥ : 1080 was only 10 fps weaker as teh 2080 (with rtx off)

There aint many that wont work on win 10. Some may need some tinkering. And if that does not work you can just install virtual win 7 and use that.

Windows 7 lol. What year is it, 2010?
hyperion Mar 1, 2022 @ 9:48am
We do this thing every other OS. Want to hear my arguments why Windows 95 > Windows 7? What about Windows for Workgroups, now that was a great OS. Not as good as DOS 3.0, even though the original UNIX was the best. Except for that mainframe OS...

Nah, you should be fine. I'll dust off my CRT and hook up my 486 DX4. With some settings tweaked I should get 200 fps at 8K. Woot woot

So, could anyone please confirm or deny whether it works on Win 7?
Macdallan Mar 1, 2022 @ 11:44am
Upgrade already. Win 7 is no longer supported by Microsoft. No one cares if you're not using an up to date OS, that's 100% on you.
