more side quests later ?
I have now 13 hours of gameplay, I did most of the quests in the big citys just outlaws missing I think, are there gonna be more side quests in later chapters ? it feels like it has way less side stuff than any other PB or am I missing something ? even in Elex 1 I felt like I could do 60 hours sidequests before story, but now after 12 hours in Elex 2 I already feel like I don't get enough side quests to level up anymore

Well time for a little checklist:
-Have you done in Fort a detective story, and some rightful stealing?
-Have you done in Depot smuggling toys, and get elex purchase permit?
-Have you done in Castle finding traveling merchant, and met an uninvited guest after distributing some religious pamphlet?
-Have you done in Morkon base Gosta's contest, and beat the arena 5 times?
-(I'm not delving too deep for outlaw faction right now so dunno if they have interesting quests)

You can try finding quest givers yourself with the description, or just ask me. Of all side quests these are very interesting and also easily missable.

After chapter one and if you've done most of the side quests, the game is almost(!) only "Go there, kill 10 Skyands!", "Go there, kill 15 Skyands!", "Go there, kill 20 Skyands!" and this gets worse from chapter to chapter.

How many chapters there is? Again the problem with the dosage of the quest in chapters.
They really thought that players will run through all the factions and talk with 2 guys per each and go straight to Chapter 2?
I just did that conversation and got to CH2)

There are also quests outside of the "cities" and your companions also have all long quest lines.

There are four chapters in total.

Had the same impression. In Elex 1 you got into the 4 main cities and got swarmed with quests like 10 each city. In this game i really had trouble to find a handfull quests in the beginning even after talking to every named npc. Then after the initial quests more poppped up but from my impression around only a third or half compared to Elex 1.

After chapter 1 like others said the quests totally boiled down to "kill x of" and get teleported around for that. It was a joke.

Elex 1 in comparison also had most times no new sidequests but at least the mainstory quests varied more like getting alliances for the fight against the Albs from all factions, destroying the former, getting in contact with Alb traitors or going against your brother. Can't remember a single "kill 30 enemies" quest despite of course the bigger endgame quests like attacking Alb outposts which DIDN'T had a kill counter, just commander to kill (afair).

This game was clearly rushed which also explains the many script bugs and poor performance on even high end systems. But this wasn't the first time for PB to have such breakdowns. Gothic 3 back in the days was also unfinished and buggy. They didn't managed to include a mainstory. The story quests of Gothic 3 were exactly: 1) find Xardas in his new tower, 2) give him 3 artifacts 3) go to a portal - finish. You could find all artifacts from side quests before even finding Xardas and end the mainstory in 5 minutes.

Okay I am now 20 hour in and I did take my time and after counting the "done" quest log I have around 150+(I think) side quests done without the companion ones, I don't think I find way more quests without really searching every corner. I don't really know how people have 60+ hours without doing the main story, I am now at 20 hours and it doesen't feel like theres much of side content left besides searching every corner in the map for more quest people

How does people count the quests?
For example Missing Cleric Trader you count as 1 or as 3?

or Gosta's Contests 1 or 5?

The easy way: There is an achievement for getting 300 quests that has a counter.
I'm ~50 hours in with 140 quests done and 20 in the log.

That depends on how many times you've reloaded) The same quest cant count multiple times. Pretty sure you can cheese this achievement by just saving before you finish a quest then reload and finish it again.
I already got this achievement and i've got in on a quest that i've already reloaded 3 times to choose a different answer.
