Is steamspy accurate?
The number of players listed on steamspy is pretty damn low. Are those numbers accurate?

You have to think. Epic Store is a thing now. A lot of people legit use it since they want to support the devs more. Plus GOG is a thing. Also russians literally cannot buy anything on steam rn I think. And russia is one of the biggest markets for PB games if not THE BIGGEST. So 6k players at once at times I'd say is good. especially now that epic games is fairly decent sized player base wise. Prolly has a few thousand over on that end. And then also Xbox and playstation have several thousand.

Generally PB games are steady sales over the years. Plus the fact many people are not playing because of the camera, that doesnt help either. But elex 2 was top 5 in the top selling at a point I think so it sold well enough.

I hope youre right because i do love PB games, and i am one of the guys waiting on the camera fix. However i do think Elden Ring is eating their lunch right now as well.

yeah elden ring is a huge issue LOL. no clue why they didnt delay a few weeks :/
But it isnt the only issue. And people tunnel vision on it. It very likely didnt sell as many copies as elex 1 day 1. But hopefully theyre a slow burner and get more and more people buying the game after theyre done with elden ring.

a lot of people use Epic? is that why they don't break even? no game got the paid money back..

gosh you are that kind of person that would say to that a burned down house while a Tornado stomps on it is something positive..

they dont break even because theyre paying out a lot of money to a lot of companies to have their game on their for free every other week -_-. A lot of people use epic launcher by a lot I dont mean the absurd amount of steam. I just mean enough to put a small dent in sales on steam.

They can afford to go negative because they know theyre real-ling in more customers. You just see "negative" and assume that means nothing is selling well on there lmao. There is more to it than just that. I'd likely honestly use epic store more if they just had more functions. Cuz it is kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥ steam takes 25%-30% of a games cut. But oh well people dont care about that, they just want steam monopoly :^) (obviously its not a monopoly but it seems like people want less competition kek)

Also a tornado stomping on a building can be positive depending on the building. Because you can build something up to date. Obviously in most cases it wont be positive though.

Youre the type of guy that sees a number and thinks "yup theres nothing more to it no one uses it"
