How's the game?

If you like Elex then Elex 2 would be up your alley. Bit more intensive to run, camera is a little weird and the characters van go from you suck to oh no are you okay in the next dialogue branch. Otherwise I see a lot of quality of like improvements, fun being able to find a weapon you can weild early on haha.

Plays pretty much just like Elex. As mentioned, if you liked Elex, you'll like Elex 2.

Only caveat here is that Elex 2 looks like crap, imo. The terrain is ok, but the people...yikes. Elex looks better, imo.

this. game is ok if you liked elex. but the people look ugly as hell. wish they would have just sticked with elex graphic

It is just the faces that look wierd. The armor looks good and the scenery looks good aswell.
I like the game. I'm sure if you like the other PB games there is a good chance you will like this one too.

Performance is bad, camera can introduce motion sickness and on vega cards the game is unplayable. PB is already working on a patch.

Save your money, this game doesnt look finished.. poor model design, bugged quest, low effort fight mechanics. Nothing like elex 1

I play on 7yo PC with i7 and 980ti, no major problems. There is the flickering issue on maxed render distance settings that I've encountered, but on medium settings it works well. I enjoyed elex and now I'm enjoying elex 2 pretty much same if not a bit more because the combat and jetpack is considerably better.

I dislike some things that were overlooked or maybe improperly tested during development, such as for example during thieving, you pickpocket someone and after pickpocketing it leaves sneak mode. That is ridiculous.

Also companion quest dialogues are triggered automaticalliy this time around and most of the time the dialogue triggers at the most bizarre moments. Like during or immediately after combat or immediately after some other unrelated dialogue; it doesn't break anything game wise but it definitely breaks immersions.

Is this satire? The game is clearly better than Elex in the fight mechanics, and the models are same or even better sometimes with more texture detail. It's okay if you don't like but dont spread misinformation

It is Elex II. If you liked Elex I, this likely is for you. If you never played any PG game, there is about 1/3 chance (my estimate) that you do not like it even if you like other games of this type. Model design is typical PB, not quite up to snuff, completely irrelevant for the game experience. (If you want to play a social simulator with good looking people, then this is really not for you.) Dialog is PB, so sometimes there are "bad" words. Also note that cigarettes and alcohol are items you can collect and sell. If any of that triggers you, you should probably stay away.

Have not encountered any bugs in 8h so far. Performance in FullHD is completely non-problematic with a AMD 3700X+RX580. Ignore those that go into convulsions and mental shutdown when a game does not give them > 100FPS. Game performance is smooth.

Overall, it is what I hoped for and I am having fun.

The game is fantastic. If you liked ELEX 1, then you'll like ELEX 2 as well. However, the game has performance Problems and doesn't run well on low-end systems or AMD GPUs. The camera is also wonky.

Buy now if you can live with that, otherwise wait for a patch.

I have to go with the general consensus that if you liked elex you will like elex 2 as long as your box is good enough to run it. The game is both better and worse, most of it is better but I must admit that I preferred the Jax from the first game much more.
