Is all of the cool looking gear from the mtx shop?

My biggest concern is that the game won't be enjoyable in offline mode due to the cosmetics being all looked behind online mode, as well as the game having a microtransaction shop for cosmetics. This seems very lame to me.

Does anyone with experience to the game have an opinion? Before any one says "it's just cosmetic" Think about the fact that everything you see in the game with your eyes is "just cosmetic"

So far as I know. Yes. That said. I dunno how the endgame equipment looks. But everything I've seen so far is extremely basic. Yeah they want you to pay for good looks just like everyone else.

It sucks. No way around it. Does it suck enough to skip the game tho ? Imho.. no. I will (if they fix the online with the 1.0 patch) do it just like in PoE.. I will buy one single awesome looking set and thats it. Will be enough for me.

D4 100$ game with shop+pass is ok
poe with its daily new mtx and tab sales a ok.
but god forbid LE have mtx shop :D

Both poe and d4 mtx shops are megacancer, wtf are you on about?

Check the announcement and events page on the community tab of the game, they have posted more stuff that comes with 1.0

D4 got lots of highly detailed default cosmetics sets from the base game.

I checked that out. If we are being honest, those items are extremely underwhelming. Looks like they came from TES 3 morrowind.

I mean, wolcen nowdays is pretty decent, and the transmog is free. Skill customization is cooler too, similar to Last Epoch but the visual changes are much more drastic. Pretty sad that it was abandoned.

Here is what my mage, my void knight and my druid (spriggan form) looks like. No mtx, and it's fine. Also, in the middle of a fight, zoomed out, I pay way more attention to what my skills looks like (and feels like) instead of how many pockets my character have on his vest.
