i really dont understand how people want to play with other, but dont want to write anything?
Have you all never heard of D3, Warframe, Deep rock G, wow, eso, gw2, lost ark, etc etc etc
Group finder is a part of most successful and ongoing successful games that have multiplayer as a facet of their gameplay.
In fact even helldivers 1 & 2 has it and its a blast.
Discord dependency screams poor game design.
Diablo 4 did not arrive with group finder and its been the most voted for feature in the forums since launch.
Diablo 3 had amazing group finder.
You may not think its important but you are hugely mistaken in that.
That is what bothers me the most.
I would like to show off my skins in public play the same way i would dress up for a night out or ppl dress up for cosplay.
Why skins and no multiplayer focus?
Well Zeitgeist
Player/Human = Stdity, indcotrination, full of capitalist idealology and suffering from Stockholm Syndrome.
Company/Devs = Just look at what other games have done and try to COPY the same concept.
They dont play this game and are mostly on PS5
Now you're gonna say do the discord meta thingy?
In early 2000's the selling point for online was play with anyone anywhere.
In 2024, play with your friends or refund.
What a terrible gaming industry we have tolerated and created.
LMFAO!!! You can smell a diablo clone or a souls clone from the first screenshot now.
Of course this means business model.
Has nothing to do with mmo.
The idea is grouping.
In all of those games you could be soloing and then queue for a dungeon run with anyone, friends or groups comprised of friends and randos.
Also if D3 could do it a decade ago and master it and make it the most popular aspect of it then im sure other clones could learn from that.
Considering everyone copied seasons from D3, they could have copied the excellent matchmaking as well if they actually cared about the gamer.
POE has an in game form of party system but is partially lacking due to the fact that its from the D3 era as well and the devs didnt initially build around it.
