Anti-Cheat present?

Considering gettin this game but does it have anti-cheat or can everyone just cheat themselves the best possible stuff, rendering actual grind meaningless as is the case with too many indie rpg's?

Havent seen any cheating or hacks in game.

I have not heard of any cheating in this game, but there are always cheaters in any online game. Or any game period, actually.

but pretty sure characters are serversided ever since MP beta launch, so u cant cheat gear/arena waves anymore, it was old days when chars were local on ur pc

Hopefully not, the vast majority of people are playing this game by themselves or with friends and the character data for online play is all server-side. It's not a competitive FPS and we don't need invasive kernel level crap to prevent people from ruining their own experience in the offline mode. Beyond that, it's a buy to play game, if anyone is actually cheating in the online part they should be pretty easy to suss out and ban. I doubt many would be willing to buy the game multiple times just to cheat and what? See their name on the leaderboard for a few hours before the devs remove them?

There isn't any sort of matchmaking or party finder in the game. You can look for people in chat to play with. I'm sure there will also be clans/guilds/whatever people will call them forming around the game for people who want to play together and will be pretty easy to find.

There's no matchmaking, but you can invite people via the game chat. There is a global chat.
