Diablo3 is my fav arpg. How does this game compare ?

I've played other big games like titan quest, diablo 2, diablo 4, sacred 2 and PoE but the only game that has kept my attention for 100s of hours is diablo 3.

How does this game compare?

And does this game have in game matchmaking for groups ? Still can't believe diablo 4 doesn't have this..

Game releases on Wednesday. The current build is missing content and polish so it's hard to compare it to a game like D3 that has 10+ years behind it. Devs have stated the release build will have massive changes and improvements. There are some youtube vids out about the release build that might help you.

I love D3, I think I played D3 for more than 1000 hours easily, my favorite ARPG.

This game is like a mix of D3 + Grim Dawn for me. So I can say this one worth it.
Just remember to have at least 16GB RAM, the minimum requirements says 8GB but I feel like 16GB RAM should be the minimum.

If diablo 3 is your favorite you will like any game dont worry

graphics : worse

leveling : better

end game : a bit different but essentially farming same content over and over, nothing special

character customization : genderlock so slightly worse than D3, as this seems to be a hot topic nowadays

itemization : better

Skill diversity and customization : better

storyline : worse

quality of life (loot filter, stash, etc) : better

crafting : better, but grindy and RNG heavy

Diablo 3 was ♥♥♥♥ with its item set mechanics... this was the first diablo i didn´t played for long.

Diablo 2 was way better even with its outdated graphics.

After that was grim dawn release... a game i tried to love but couldn´t because of the for that time outdated graphics and animations.

I have big hope on PoE2 ... but after the diablo 4 disapointment.... who knows

Last Epoch is a dead horse in my opinion.

Please make a poll in a place you want which is the best Diablo game.
D2 will ALWAYS win, nobody in their right mind would ever pick d3 or d4 over it. All their systems and mechanics are objectively worse, only the graphics are better and its very telling that you seem to fall for that.
