I heard POE2 is different from 1 so maybe that will scratch the itch.
I don't think you would enjoy it either. But maybe you will it comes down to preferance. PoE2 is very much an Early acess game with a lot of missig features keep that in mind.
Maybe i'll like the end-game in LE. Is there a way to skip the campaign?
PoE2 will be free on relase which will take at least 1+ year.
LE end game is okay-ish. Actually pretty similar to PoE2 at this point. (There will be major changes to LE in the upcoming patch. We don't know much about PoE2 patch yet)
No campagin skip for a first character. You can skip large portions of the story trough dungeons >IF< you have the dungeon keys. But you still need to complete some quests to get all your Idol slots and extra passive skill points. Or i guess i could help you do that if you are interested ?
Hi you need to try play it with someone probably. It feels different. Also campaign is easy and thats why it can become boring. Also it can be because of build what can feels boring.
Im personally enjoying in this game how build scales with new items etc. Also bosses are challenging in endgame.
If you didnt played Path of Exile 2, well its more fun i would say but keep in mind you will need to do first 3 acts two times before endgame. Because last three acts are not made yet.
I prefer to play solo.
I will continue at some point. I guess i would need to go the alternative route i saw which was still locked at that time.
I may give POE2 a shot when it's f2p.
Idk what you think about Trading between players but if you are more of a solo player you will probably dislike PoE2 as you are basically forced to trade in the end-game. Unless you are extremely lucky with drops and crafting (which is RNG rerolling items or RNG adding bonuses for the most part PoE devs don't want deterministic crafting.) All of this is subject to change though since the game is in early access.
PoE2 has a "souls-like" feel to it, so fi that isn't your thing, I'd definitely wait until it's F2P. I dumped 140 hours in PoE2, and it's good, but doesn't scratch the itch for me, mostly because I'm almost completely a SSF player. The idea of using 3rd party system to trade to actually progress isn't my type of thing. Sure, you can sit in trade chat for an hour o so, but I'm not going to spend my time staring at a trade chat channel to hope I get what I want that day. I wasted a ton of currency on my spark mage and got 1 upgrade, which brought me from tier 1 maps, to tier 2 maps. That felt REALLY bad for me, and I haven't touched it since January. I don't really see myself playing it much anymore, sadly.
Of course, as it has been said already, it's a matter of preferences.
Has skill trees similar as Grim Dawn but imo way more interesting items or item effects which make the game ridiculous later on in endgame or even in late story mode.
