Mostly unplayable

Last Epoch is almost unplayable for me.
It takes 17 min. to launch and log in and when you finally get in (im not in a que) the game runs horrible.
Ive tried all the basic fixes. Reinstalling. File scans. Running as admin. No help to find. Im about to give up on this game and let people know about my experiences.

So you guys inhere are my last hope. Say something clever please.

You say you tried everything. Did you try lowering in game settings or cap your FPS?

In my case it runs but it happens to always crash atm, really turning me off. Beta was no problem but now its crash after crash, updated drivers, 3080, R9 7900x. too bad.

This is a "Need a new PC / SSD upgrade from HD" problem not a Last Epoch problem. I get into the game in less than a minute after a restart of my pc. You need to get a solid state drive and go for speed over anything else. Good luck. Have a professional do it like somebody at Microcenter.

Something cleaver: How long does your system take to boot up Windows?

You won't find any better advice here than to at least get yourself a SSD, reinstall your OS on there + your most load intensive games.
Let's just hope your motherboard is at least sata 2.0 ready.

Even better than that, safe more money and buy a budget gaming PC.
Don't torture yourself with a pre-historic PC and insane HDD bottleneck.

17 minutes to launch, are you playing on a ZX Spectrum, might want to clean the heads on your tape player.
