Boss fights unfair for casuals

Anything deadly enough to one-shot the player almost certainly has a telegraph or wind-up period. Try to not stand in The Bad, grind a bit for more passives, and consider tailoring your resists to the fight that's giving you trouble.

I agree, 1 shot death dungeons aren't a great idea, especially given the high number of mobs that can 1 shot some specs, dungeons are one thing last epoch doesn't do too well, but it does have one of the best skill systems and easily the best crafting system of any ARPG around atm, so it can be forgiven for this to some degree.

I really wish the game would put a big red tutorial window before going into monos or dungeons saying " EVERYTHING can CRIT you, to circumvent that, get CRIT AVOIDANCE."

There is a reason why the first mono boss drops a chest that has 100% crit avoidance lol. I still blame the devs.. it's poorly explained.

With YT Channels like ActionRPG and the in game Guide that literally explains EVERYTHING, this should be a non issue. Maybe the devs should add in Companions that Hold our Hands too. :)

Wait.. hold on a minute. You expect people to go out of their way pressing a button AND read some game guide that explains everything? Pressing a button AND reading ? Thats to much. They should have made the game guide with 200 or so 10 seconds tiktok videos.

There are a few one shot mechanics that dont care about your crit avoid or endurance...especially in emp mono's.

That being said, Lost Ark has far, far more rage inducing and heinous mechanics than Last Epoch, at least currently. Like...one person goes down and kills the other 4 and then you spend 20-40 minutes waiting to get back into the dungeon for another chance....or maybe even burn that chance for the week.

Thats true. Damn I loved lost ark until getting into raids, legion and upgrading.

the only boss who has actually 1 shotted me and me not knowing what to do is the final boss. that snake lady's second phase is ridiculous and she took me way to many tries solo
