1 major and 1 semi major
You can have 9 skeleton warrior/archer. You can have up to 5 mage. You can have two golem. You can have 3 skeleton vanguard. You can have up to 8 wraith. and one abomination. What am i missing? hmmm
24 permanent minions + 8 temporary = 32 minions on my pet build setup
2 blood golem
3 skeleton vanguard (spear users from passive mastery)
4 transplant zombies (weak fodder)
5 skeleton warriors
5 skeleton archers
5 skeleton mages
8 wraiths (temp, their health decays and you can get them blown up by the mages to do more damage)
full pet build with movement skill transplant that lets you teleport around, cursing enemies you land on and also giving you + your pets haste/frenzy everytime due to synergy of transplant with passive mastery end nodes
i enjoy it
There's also Rogue - Falconeer (falcon and ballista and decoy minions)
And
Primalist - Beast Master (Beasts) - Druid (totems)
Sentinel - Forgeguard can summon hammers and weapons and stuff to float around them and fight
cant' remember if i missed something else
Grim Dawn had a zoo, where was this I think i missed that part of the map, I do know however I had lot of fun running pet builds.
9 Skellies (archers warriors or rogues) 11 with 2x +1 skelly ring.
2 Golems.
5 Skelly mages
2 Wraith (with no decay node).
3 Skelly vanguards (from on kill proc node).
Everything else is temporary (in that they decay or time out) or requires giving up stuff to get to something else.
Acolyte has the Necromancer, which can summon huge numbers of a wide variety of minions, and the other two subclasses (Lich and Warlock) can also diversify into the odd minon.
Primalist has the most variety: the Beastmaster can have an assortment of permanent pets, the Druid can have a couple of minions like the Spriggan and Locust, and the Shaman can spawn Totems (magic turrets, basically).
Sentinel has the Forge Guard, a "blacksmith" class that can manifest their gear as temporary or permanent companions. It's somewhat underpowered though, so I would recommend waiting for a rework.
And finally, the Rogue has the Falconeer, which combines a permanent bird companion with an assortment of traps and turrets, making them the engineer archetype.
One of the most enjoyable summoner experiences ive had in an ARPG. Obviously not nearly the customization depth as POE, but i dont need corpses to summon, pet death makes sense and isnt an issue through mid-endgame.
Also theres the "A" key which is focus attack for your minons, which is nice. Each summon has its own skill tree, so you can make your skeletons be archers or rouge, or fire based or cold based, all one kind or a mix ect ect ect.
My only complaint, same as POE, why does necro have to be only female.
There is still 5 Transplant Minions and Unique chest.
this ^
you can get many more golems with the chest armor and talent, or a single powerful wraith, or double your number of decaying wraiths....but max number of permanent non-decaying stuff is the above.
I run something similar except its 1 golem and no vanguards.
The chest disables skeletons, so if you're referring to Aaron's Will, then no bueno.
But there's the relic that gives the rogue minion thingy.
And useless bone minions. 5 of them, is it?
And EVERY post has failed to mention the revenant which is even stronger than a wraith. With a low health build, a simple lich passive mode can make it resummon itself every 10 seconds which, for all intents and purposes, makes it permanent. Or you can just make it summon when you cast a spell that gives your minions haste and frenzy. It lasts several minutes so this is better but just letting people know it CAN be essentially permanent.
So you can have 25 permanent minions + whatever transplant gives. If that's 5, then 30 is technically the max. VERY suboptimal, but just saying.
You failed to read the OP....Revenant decays, as do bone minions. Its like saying Areks Flesh is permanent...when actually, regardless of your build or equips, not its not. And Revenant is only stronger than unskilled wraiths.
there isn't any workable build like that in higher corruption level maps.
Only builds with a super powerful wraithlord work in higher corruption maps
