Is there a WASD movement option in Last Epoch?

Hey, I am waiting for the next patch of POE2 and thought I would finally check out Last Epoch to tide me over but I have found I Love the WASD movement in ARPGs and really don't want to go back to mouse click movement... so before I spend money on this game just want to check, is there WASD movement option in this game?

No, and their position has been they don't want to add it. I think their position on this is changing, but it's not going to be added anytime soon (if ever).

That's not true. The devs have said multiple times on their weeky livestream that "if they had a magic wand that would add WASD they would use it right now" but they haven't been able to make it a priority with all the other content they're working on.

This is a long story, the timing of which is just comically bad. The short version is that we had a small influx of people (less than 5) ask about it just before WASD blew up as a thing. We decided we didn’t want to do it. The community sentiment shifted, we had moved on and locked in our 1.0 features. Then we delayed launch but it was too late to even consider WASD as an option. Now we are going to discuss it again once things have calmed down. We aren’t guaranteeing that it will or won’t be in the game yet but it’s back on the list of things to talk about at a design meeting.

The one big misconception that I like to clear up is that this is a very major feature for us to implement at this point. There is currently no way to move in one direction and use an ability in another direction at the same time. This might seem trivial but it impacts so many other nearby systems that those systems are what cause the real work in implementing this.

The most recent thing I've seen is that they will reconsider the decision, but they still aren't committing to adding it. Nothing I said is "not true". Again, you choose to ignore facts and spread misinformation and be disingenuous about the game.

WASD is not in the game (original question) and will not be in the game anytime soon (if ever), by your own, and EHG's, admission.
