From the roadmap[forum.lastepoch.com] provided by EHG, the missing acts will come in the future, but no specific date has been announced yet.
It is possible that the promised acts will fully finish it, but
1. we have no indicator when those will come out
2. there are some lose ends i would keep open as they tie in the endgame.
If you only want to play the story and not experiment with builds, it is probably a bit weak. I think you'll need two play through to wrap your head around the time jumps, but after that the static maps will make it very repetitive.
The storytelling isn't bad, but some of the flavour "dialoges" can trigger while you are in the middle of a horde. There are also some easy to miss history notes in some places.
Yes it still missing 3 chapters. One of which is coming in season 3. Chapters 10. Mike on stream mentioned it
As for the other 2 yup still in the dark here
While Diablo-like ARPGs tend to be lacking in the story area in general, Last Epoch feels even more so than others I've played. The campaign was a breeze and I was in end game before 20 hours- and there was nothing really gripping about the story and there's no real conclusion to anything (basically you are just pushing through the setup for end game).
That being said- the combat is insanely fun but if doing the same type of runs over and over for better gear isn't your thing then maybe sit this out- at least until more acts are available to provide a more cohesive story (if that ever happens).
