i cant leave the guild.. i wanted to switch :(

my actual character has no "items" from the Circle Fraction.. but i prefer the Merchant Guild now.. and cant switch.
is there a hint how i can find which character or item this is?

Any items generated because of the faction perks/rewards/prophecies would count as faction items. You can check the bottom right corner to see if anything you're wearing has the faction requirement added on, right near the normal level requirement. Also check to see if you have any active prophecies you haven't completed. I'm not sure if those count as well or not, I personally haven't tried changing factions.
