Game is not too easy
You can literally make the game more difficult by pushing monolith corruption higher. You control the difficulty of the game.

Or by not playing the strongest meta builds
Some people will say it's too easy, others will say it's just fine. No one is wrong or correct. It's all subjective no matter how many times people whine and complain.

Here's how I solved the difficulty problem. By playing in HC. Once you starting playing in this league the difficulty is instantly perfect. The only problem is that everyone in the game is a judgement paladin.

I feel like people are actually complaining that the game is too short. It's easy until corruption, but that means the campaign is toothless. Which isn't a problem since it's a blink of the eye, but that's just it, most of the game is spent outside of it. People seem to be expecting some long and arduous campaign that requires months to clear instead of the one we have where it's done in one day.

The "TOO EASY!" complaint is about the campaign and early monoliths and they are correct

100% of the player base must engage with the campaign prior to corruption. Thats without exception. The campaign is what all new players are required to interact with and its utterly, and completely trash. So telling new players to tolerate abysmal boredom for hours until they reach corruption is correct but creates a horrible impression. Nobody is complaining that 700 corruption is too easy, its just that the journey to that point is F tier.

I am having fun bcs I run my own build... I experiment (change this change that) untill I will have build I have most fun off it. Runing on meta builds = boring bcs you dont think what you must do only go what is on some site.........

My problem with that is that you have to get to this point first. There is no reason why the game cant be a little bit more challenging straight away. Last time I didnt manage because I got bored of running maps with zero challenge and how many maps I had to do to get to the challenging part is not communicated to the player.
I will give the game an another shot now and try to get there as soon as possible and skip most of the content until then. And I will try to use the most niche ability, I guess. Still, I would have loved if the game simply had a Veteran difficulty you could choose straight away like Grim Dawn.

Though this is the norm in ARPGs. Even in POE, the campaign is effortless and if you die before level 50, you had the cat walking on the keyboard again. Only the Diablo series ever had a somewhat threatening campaign and with a little experience, even Normal difficulty was a joke. You had to wait until playthrough 2 or even 3 to get to the really challenging fights.

That poe comment hurt lmao, just this phrecia event I started flicker strike and had 300 deaths by end of campaign and 600 at the end of atlas bonus completion gathering. xD But yeah people playing LE expecting Poe Ruthless AKA Poe2 campaign. I don't see the fun in super spongy mobs in a game like this.

Endless difficulty is a lame and uninteresting way to scale endgame. I did not prepare for the season and have barely played S1. I was finished with the entire content in 3 days, except for Uber Aberroth.

It's not interesting to farm gear for my build over multiple weeks in order to face tank that boss - so I am done with the season already as there is nothing else to explore.

I'd much rather prefer more fights like normal Aberroth, which you can do with pretty much every build, rather than investing into endless defences for a fight in which you cannot properly dodge all mechanics.

I think that is the games current only weakness, it lacks interesting endgame bossfights that are not gated behind sheer gear, but around understanding and learning its' mechanics.

Playing PoE1 for the first time many players wont even get to the end of the campaign. In terms of difficulty, playing LE for the first time is the same difficulty like the PoE campaign after 500 hours. And that after all the powercreep PoE had... I remember playing back when acts 4-6 came out in PoE1 and even getting to maps was not easy.
PoE1 gets easy when you know how systems work and know how to build a character. LE is easy from the get go, even when you know nothing about the game.
