Play all of the ARPGs - Stop being weird and tribal about everything

Seriously, play any ARPG you like, play them all like I do. Who cares? They all have their good and bad parts. Being tribal and divisive about them is just cringey and pathetic.

You can't not make them lash out, they paid $$$ for poe 2 and seeing how a cheaper game is a lot better than their game is not good for their mental. Tho I do agree that it's poor man's way of acting but hey what can you do.

If no one ever gave negative review opinions about games then how would the games grow to be better. We'd all just be playing someone's vision. That worked back in 1983 we bought games they were developed with no outside opinions consumers just bought and played and realized the game was either good or not and we traded them in. Not any more it takes negative reviews to reel some of the companies back into reality.

I didn't actually have to buy POE2 because I qualified due to my long-standing support of POE1. That said, POE2 is trash. Nobody asked for "Path of Souls" and the devs completely forgot the plot of why people enjoy ARPGs. Most of its fanboys that I see have just overly bought into the hype. There are some true enjoyers, to be sure. It's just nowhere near the quality that POE1 was.

That said, any comparisons to LE (or most any other ARPG) can only really be made at a surface level. Too many core systems and fundamental design principles just differ too much for it to not be apples to oranges. You couldn't fairly compare it to something like Dungeon Siege 2, Sacred 2, Torchlight 2, etc. POE's closest competitor, from a design and gameplay perspective, is probably Torchlight Infinite--but POE has the advantage of almost a decade of development.

Exactly if more players went into a new game as if it was the very first they ever played, no comparison to another. They might actually find all of them to be quite enjoyable. Granted reality wise there are some that have fallen quite short of the expectation bar. We can hope they will improve down the road and that's all we can do.

I can't tell you how much I was hoping POE2 wasn't what it ended up being. It was a massive disappointment.

As an adult, i think having different opinions is good as long as you are respectfull and reasanoble;
Ofc arpg fans cant read and will ignore everything you say, and it sucks when the unreasonable ones are the more loud, but at least they supporting the game(s) i like.

To be fair, PoE 2 players come here to attack because they don't want people playing this. They know that a lot of ex PoE 2 players came over here to play. Unfortunately there are also ex PoE 2 players coming here and whinging cos they think its too easy.

I'm an ex PoE 2 player, I bought this first when it was in ea, and I'm happy with the game, its a tad easy but its fine. I also know exactly how toxic it is over there.

As the person who started this thread said. Play ARPG which you like as we have plenty of choices. There is nobody forcing to play Last Epoch, right?

I can't, for the love of all mighty, understand what someone gets by coming here and bash trolling this game. Attention? If you don't like Last Epoch and Path of Exile 2 is better for you then go play POE2. No reason to tell us that some other ARPG is better than LE as we are that group of people who like the game...

The toxicity of POE has a lot to do with just getting too popular. League of Legends, Overwatch, Fortnite... all these games have this issue.
