Want an ARPG with actual skill trees but doesn't require a math degree to use them on your own? Last Epoch is for you (once the server hamsters finish dinner, ofc)

its a good offline game..As always their net and online servers are ♥♥♥♥..and always have been ..it will kill the online game if they don`t get a workaround.
The skill tree system is great, the visuals are god awful, the movement and animations are god awful, campaign is a snooze fest, end game is a snooze fest until pretty high corruption. Loot filter built into the game is amazing, crafting is a solid 7/10. For the price, you can have a bit of fun but it gets stale fast asf due to how easy it is. If you like cookie clicker ARPGs, it is great bang for buck.
103hrs in the game and this is the first time experiencing server issues.

Lot of hatred and disdain on the boards now because the servers are down and people just like to be mad at their life. This is definitely a don't-miss for fans of the genre. The leveling is probably my favorite of all the ARPGs I've played, since the campaign is relatively straight forward and crafting shards and simplicity means keeping your relevant stats up to snuff while leveling is easy and enjoyable. Also dungeons to skip campaign content and just mindless hoard killing.

Biggest annoyance is probably clicking on windows and tooltips, sometimes the mouse will literally click through the screen and move your character or miss a window button and close it, etc...

Game good. Buy. Just not immediately as the servers are down after steam maintenance... =]

Games great. Just like D3 or D4 or PoE or WH40K Inquisitor etc. Highly recommend getting it if you like the genre.

Buy if you like:
mobile-like graphics
always the same maps (no procedural)
maps resets if you leave them, even for 1 second
pressing more than 2 buttons all the time
just pass and get oblivion like all the people that left the game already did. Streamers left and so did 2/3 of the playerbase.

oblivion remake looks good, but not worth the price they're asking. it's overpriced.

To each their own i guess, by that logic you'd want this game to be free with torchlight and POE being free and poe 2 will be free if you just wait. Not sure why this company thinks their game is worth money when the others feel like free is good enough to make them money.

nah not free but i think the current price is a bit overkill as well. they're trying to compete with poe2 and d4 i think they'd benefit greatly by a bit lower prices though, like just saying - no hate.
