Player count ??POE2??
Since Last Epoch 0.2, POE2 player count has come down a little but not much while LE has sky rocketed.
Does this prove more bots then people play POE2?

pretty much the chines bots flooded the market by now
POE is filled with no lifers and bots.

Only they could have the 25/8 work week to get to end game and even dabble with good crafting.

The rest of the gamers are gatekept by them through their industry worst trading system.

That's the ♥♥♥♥♥ state of POE1 and 2

They're coming out at still a pretty similar time frame, so there's probably a significant number of people who either started playing PoE 2 and aren't done with their playthrough, so might only check out LE a bit later on, as well as people who decided up-front that they'd wait for LE first and put off starting PoE 2 until later (there were a lot of people that were initially not so happy with PoE 2's Dawn of the Hunt update). Some people will play a bit of both at the same time. I still have a PoE 2 character I intend to continue with, but I'm starting LE just now, a few days after its launch.

It's easy for player numbers to "sky rocket" when you're starting from 2k. Game will be back to dead by the end of the week.

So what exactly does this have to do with Last Epoch? Other than of course the quite obvious gloating that "my game is better than yours". Who cares how many people are playing some other game? Does it affect your ability to enjoy this game? No offence but these kind of threads have gotten quite tiring a long time ago.

the real answer is
people from poe2 dont play it and LE is full of bots
i mean really. just look at the public chat
most of the message are "sell cheap gold 1M=1$"

You must have the games mixed up... PoEs chat has TONS of gold spammers.. Ive played LE quite a bit these past 3 days, and not one Gold spammer.. plenty of butthurt PoE spammers though, but no one selling gold.. Pressing 'X' for Doubt as to whether you've played very recently...

To be fair, botting in LE would be MUCH EASIER to setup than in PoE2.
Not saying it's the case that either game is infested with bots but still.
I think PoE2's players went down quite a lot when LE's new league came out and the remaining players are probably just not interested in LE. I personally played LE for 2 days, steamrolled through the game and now I'm back in PoE2.

LE is probably the easiest ARPG out there right now.

If you think it's easy, you didn't do the endgame. All I'm saying. POE2's endgame gets easier and easier the more you play it, only starting with an initial difficulty hike. LE's endgame does the opposite, which makes more sense and feels more rewarding when you can tackle the higher challenges.

POE2 gives you a painful tutorial then drops you into a Goku power fantasy. LE reverses that.

I mean for how long do I have to play the walking sim for it to get challenging? I'm in the endgame, idk what to tell you.

The ones that are running those Chinese bot farms, or any bot farms in general for that matter, have a significantly larger incentive to run their bot accounts in POE2's environment. There simply isn't as much of a financial gain to be obtained for them in Last Epoch in comparison to POE2, which is the reason the bot count seems to be skyrocket high in POE2, but not in Last Epoch.

That doesn't mean POE2 is a better game, of course, it mostly just means that POE2 is more loaded with crazy die hard fanatics, with more money than common sense and self control, that these RMT sellers can target and gain more out of. Both games are two very different markets for them, in a sense.

poe is typically 90% bots.

Players are simply expecting different styles of progression. In LE, you feel like you're getting weaker as you progress because the content is getting much much stronger. There comes a point inevitably due to infinite progression where it doesn't matter how powerful you are, you can't tackle what you're up against. POE2 gives people a different sense of progression where the content is initially challenging and they work to overcome that challenge and gain in strength, eventually becoming monsters. These are simply different playstyles, and I much prefer the one where you go from Easy to Medium to Hard rather than the one where you begin on Hard and lower the difficulty the more you farm.

Is that based on your experience at what level of corruption? Because even at 100 I started to get oneshot every map, and getting 3000-4000 HP seems to take a while to stop getting oneshot
yeah going by chat activity I'd say PoE has more humans playing

In order to get to the engaging end game you must endure the brutal boredom of LE campaign. Thats the irony of it all.
