The game gives you everything you need to ensure you don't have to do that. Set up a loot filter, ignore non upgrades that you don't want to dismantle, pick up upgrades and dismantle your previous one.
I went to drop off a few good loot for my potential alts and then upon return the map is wiped clean include fog.
Also all quest direction indicators disappear.
Like everything, map is cleared - monster reset, map is again unexplored, etc.
In all other arpg I have ever played this doesn't happen so it is weird for me.
Someone, in other topic, recommended to sell all the loot that I dont need :O.
Yeah I was super confused, I guess this is famous "It's not a bug, it's a feature" :D...
It was originally a bug from the Early Access which got rolled into a feature.
Make a strict filter from t3-t5 affixes, set it up for >= t6 with 1, and >= t6 with 2, for the affixes you want, and continually make it stricter the more you progress. You don't have to use this, this is just what I do, and I have it for every class I play. Yes, there are more efficient ways, but im targeting specific upgrades, otherwise, i dont want to see it.
You don't want to pick up everything. there is far too much loot for that.
Wait... that was 1 year ago :D... I mean... Whut :D.
I understand it might not be easy to solve... but I guess it's also not top priority hahaha :D.
Loot filter? Yes, it's a useful feature, and I'm all for it in hack&slash games, but I don't accept that as an excuse for developers not being able to fix a fundamental issue.
Not seeing the issue with resetting story-maps when you leave them.
Dismantle gear with good affixes. Only pick up actual decent items. Dont pick up literally everything cause you dont need to anyways.
Boom, no issues with inventory for a bunch of zones, usually in time to hit another town or place with a stash. And if you do portal out... just do it at the beginning of a zone when you found the waypoint...
You are literally insulting the developers, and complaining, about a non-issue that you have yourself. Because from what it sounds like, you feel entitled to pick up, and sell, literally every item that ever drops.
I mean I agree that the issue is quite trivial, but at the same time you start to wonder how bad are the architects/designers of the game to plan it in such a way that this kind of simple feature poses this kind of huge issues (from technical perspective).
It reminds me of diablo devs and their issue with inventory space, not sure if you heard about it.
To be frank, only viable reason for teleporting is when you're ready to quit the game. This is the "online" for you.
I took a long break from LE for them to fix these kinds of mess-ups, but sadly it's still priority number whogivesashit. Which is basically what they've said about it: They will probably eventually get around to it but as long as they're not they're selling it as a feature.
Which is fair enough. Most people probably don't care or don't care enough, but some people do. For them this isn't a problem that can be solved with the loot filter, it's a problem that's solved by making it go away.
LMAO. Says the dude who hasn't touched the game since 2022 in April.
Iv used filters that only let 3-5 items through it again ton of times nothing gets through it. And I can run several echos like that.
If thats happening it's due to the filter not being setup properly. A properly setup filter won't get overwhelmed by loot explosions
