loot disappearing after TP
I mean who in the right mind though that was good idea ?!?!?!
You telling me i cant leave to stash my items and come back ?!
WJATS THE POINT OF LOOT THEN ?!
I had that lizard who splits into more lizards, and had like 30 uniques / legendaries on the floor, i picked up full inv to save in my stash and wen i got back all loot was gone.

GREAT DESIGN CHOICE DEVS !!!

Seems like their server performance is that bad that they delete every empty map to save resources?

I dont know what is but every time you use TP everything resets

The point is that you're not supposed to vendor everything. Use loot filters and prioritize.

Might be "fixed" in a few years. Like the spires shooting you from across the map for the longest.

Like I just said, whenever there is an empty map, aka a map without players, that map gets deleted. I can only make guesses as to why this is the case, but the most obvious reason would certainly be to save server resources as having maps open consumes some. And if they don't have any smart techniques like PoE has that pauses enemies not close to a player then the resource consumption of open maps would be quite significant.

EHG also told use it intended. And explained why in a dev stream. 2 yrs ago as well. Post above urs is part of the explanation.

Devs even said they dont want u teleporting back to town to off load loot. Theres a reason the sell price for loot is so low. Nope nothing to do with trading. Sell cost has always been very low long before trade was put into the game.

Another thing the devs said, also said in a dev stream. We have a fix ready to go and it will be in game in 0.9 MP update 0.9 multiplayer patch drop in march of 2023. Yet here we are 2 yrs later that fix they said they had is still not in game.

Funny how there's things the devs have said that contradict what mike is saying in that reddit post

This is a fantastic example of two things being true at the same time.

Maps having no permenance is something they want to fix and you are not intended to pick up every drop.

It's a difficult concept here two things being true, but it is what it is.

You're supposed to do whatever you want, there is no reason to think you're not meat to pick up whatever loot you want and be able to teleport away to store/sell and return to whatever was left.

"You are not intended to pick up every drop"
Nobody is arguing that, but if you have a bunch of good items and something else drops you're boned, stop arguing with strawmen, especially ones that are so bad they're not even wrong, because if you want to you're allowed to sell every item you find.

You doing OK?

That's not my position but the developers position.

You know there is a chest to stash "good stuff" in right? The inventory space on your character is vast. How can you overfill your character inventory with "good stuff"?

Be more selective, stop hoarding.

Can you show me where? (You don't have to btw)

And it doesn't change my point, if you have a full inventory of items and something drops you want to keep you're boned so the problem stands.

The game has so much loot that if you aren’t using a strict filter, I strongly recommend doing so. Does it solve the problem, no, but on the other side, you really don’t need to horde. After about level 30, you should be using a semi strict filter based on item types and affix tiers and after campaign, you should be using an aggresively strict filter and only hunting tier 5-7 affixes. If you’re getting so much loot that you fill your pockets with high tier (6-7) affixes, you need to be breaking them down and using the crafting system more or adjusting what affixes you’re hunting
