Character Creation is so UGLY, how is this the POE 2 killer?

Was told this is the POE 2 killer, tried it out couldn't get past the ugly character creation screen, it looks like they used some free Unity asset or something.

In POE 2 my character looks and animate buttery smooth, my Witch and Sorceress looks like they came out of a Victoria Secret Super Model Runway.

This is because GGG has pride in their work.

I am very disappointed with these Last Epoch devs they used cheap Unity Store asset downloads for these character design the stance of the characters are so weird their proportions scream cheap.

This game is very similar to what you find with cash grab games it screams cheap knock off, I think these devs should be ashamed of themselves at least design your own characters instead of crappy Unity Store assets.

If they put some effort into this, it would be a lot better game than it is now and they could even justify selling supporter packs in a game that costs $34 to begin with.

GGG is an Indie company if they can put effort into the character design models then there is no reason other companies can't

Not saying it's mandatory to have good looking characters, it's a hard pass for me when I see something this butt ugly. They couldn't even be bothered to learn how to animate a character, the animations suck hard the movement looks so bad.

....99.99% of the time you dont even see what your character looks like. you should care more about armor looks than character looks. but the ARPG genre doesn't seem to be for you. cause.. hardly any ARPGS have much in teh way of character creation. and even then....again- armor covers it all up anyway.

as far as the animations go. cant even agree with you there. the abilities, movement, dashes etc. all look fine and on par with other arpgs to me.

I'm not sure why everyone is glazing this game. Got it on my main account and it seems rather bland tbh. Only a few hours in, but items look pretty bad on characters and there is no transmog or dye system that I can see.

Because it’s fun.. I know, I know, it’s a foreign concept to play games for fun and enjoyment..

If you’re caring about how your character looks when you can’t see anything because a screen is blowing up, I think you might want to question why people enjoy these games. People don’t play games because it has the graphical fidelity of a UE5 tech demo, they play them because people find them fun and enjoy them

The last 4 bosses I stood at the edge of the arena and held the fireball key.

I can see why some people might think that's fun- but it isn't for me.

To call this game presentation as generic is to be extremely kind. The art design is devoid of character and the campaign is bland to the point of boredom.

Not every game is made for everyone. That has always been the case. I don’t enjoy Fortnite, Minecraft or Star citizen and many other games, but plenty of people glaze them, despite my trying them, I can’t get into them.

Video games are meant to be enjoyed. If you don’t enjoy something, don’t do it and just play something you do enjoy.

Got to mapping already and I'm sitting in a hub waiting for item sales. Picked this game up to have something to do and am pretty disappointed.
