Game is unplayable due to crashes.

No idea why but I cant play more than a few minutes before the game crashes. Have tried a lot of things to try and fix. Event log just shows, Application Crashing Events, Event ID 100. Played pass seasons with no issues. Have tried updating drivers, patching windows, verifying files, lower resolutions, monitoring CPU temps. The only thing different for me is running Windows 11 which I upgraded to a few weeks ago.

Two things I could suggest is as usual "verify file integrity" which is done by right clicking the game in the steam library, properties, installed files, verify file integrity. If the issue still persists try a clean install by uninstalling.

I honestly would never suggest these solutions by default, but you "upgraded" your OS. lots of strange things can happen when you do.

Unless you actually already did a clean install after upgrading your OS, in that case my advice is moot.

win11 24h2 here - no crashes so far.. only a couple hours into the new season tho

9800x3d w/ 7900xt and 32GB ram @ 6000mhz

This is a new install and not an in-place upgrade. I have also verified the integrity of the files with no impact.

well.. how are you supposed to know if it's a wide-spread issue or just yourself, if no one pipes up to say it's working fine for them?

I've been getting crashes since update. Not quite as many as you, maybe 1 per hour or so, but had 0 prior to new season. I haven't done any troubleshooting yet, though, because 1 per hour is kind of convenient as it reminds me to go walk around and take a break lol

Still on Win 10 and getting constant crashes too... sometimes it crashes when loading in from character select, sometimes it lets me play a couple maps before it crashes. Sometimes it shows me a unity crash screen with the LE logo and a red (!).

I also tried to launch it offline yesterday before the patch and got funny behavior from it then too... it disabled all my other monitors and set my main monitor to 1024x768. Needed to do a couple restarts, then it seemed like it worked OK but then crashed after 20 min.

I had 80 hours in the game back at launch and haven't changed my PC so I'm not sure what happened.

RTX3080 (I had old drivers which i just updated to 576.02, no improvement)

I thought I had made some progress by making changes to my windows 11 page file. It seems to play for 20-30 minutes now before crashing so I had thought it was fixed. The original page file was only 2gb and I changed it to about 12gb based on some forum help I found.

Hmm yeah that does seem to be related. I had my pagefile set manually, and only on one of my drives. I just set pagefile to system-managed for both my drives and so far I've been able to play the game crash-free for 30 min until I had to go download the new patch. Will see if I get more issues, thank you for pointing that out!

I haven't gotten any crashes in gameplay but while in talent menus or passives, I've gotten 3 crashes.

ok so here's the thing.. i too had same problem.. crashes.. somedays ago.. i changed my pagefile to just 8gb cause of low hdd space.. i downsized from 50gb ... now i again resized pagefile to 30 gb.. no crashes.. for 3 hours straight.. and even after that there was no crash.. its just i stopped playing after 3 hours.. before it would just crash within 15-20mins..
my pc specs are 5800x, 128gb ram and 3090 ti.. still it would crash cause of this damn pagefile.. i got tired of this thing came here for solution and now its fixed.. yes .. its the pagefile.. nothing else zzzz

ok so.. i increased the pagefile to 110gb... after crashing again at 4th hour..
now after 9 hours of play time.. again.. "BSOD"
the Error was >> "Stop Code: Memory Management"
Please fix this.. I have many AAA titles on steam i Play.. None crashes like this :(
