I have played every subclass of Sentinel and have liked all of them, not sure if the rework was necessary but it is nice to see them improving classes they see slumping.
One of the big reasons for the rework is that the global damage steroids of Volatile Reversal and Sigils of Hope were making builds very homogenous and button-mashy. So they reworked those skills and beefed up the rest of the class to compensate.
That's fair, I know that when I played Void Knight pre-season 1.0 it was a lot of holding down the Devouring Orb ability key and spamming other attacks in between casts for my build haha. Happy to see they are removing some of the monotony of certain builds/abilities. I think I avoided Sigils of Hope on my Paladin specifically due to needing to constantly cast it haha.
