Skills and classes for lazy builds?
Not sure what i am gonna play yet, since i like to go into my first play through in games a bit blind and not follow build guides.

But i want to at least know the class/skill i chose have potential for the play style i want.

Since i mostly play after long days at work, i am looking for a lazy relaxing skill/class where i can press as little buttons as possible to do damage.

What would be your experienced players recommendations?

The more brain dead the better.

Most people are going with sentinel, they have been reworked and seem pretty strong this season. I recommend looking into paladin mastery, it has a lot of simple skills with a lot of passive defense. Another plus is the resistances you get from the talents which reduces the pressure to get resistance from gear in other words, you have more gearing options while progressing.

Acolyte Necro would probably be the easiest
Acolyte Necro or Warlock can both be played in a simplistic way.

VK autobomber (there is a guide on lastepochtools). With that build you just run around pressing 0 buttons. This build is being heavily buffed S2 also.

If you, as you say, don't like guides - then it's void knight built around devouring orb skill.
Also, there is spin to win build for void knight that require 1 button to be hold, but since you hold 1 button just to run around as autobomber it's pretty much equivalent in terms of number of buttons used to play. Spin to win = warpath skill. Warpath void knight is being heavily buffed S2 too.

You can set any skill with a cooldown to autocast quite effectively, this broadly speaking gives you two options.

1. you set the majority of your skills to autocast causing them to cast when they are off cooldown and you only use a single main skill so all you have to do is walk and manage your single skill. From here you can branch out to triggered skills if you like, or minions with buffs etc.

2. Full walking simulator, you set everything to auto cast and only have to walk, this is famously shown with skills like Devouring Orb. I have not checked its viability lately but primalist also did similar using Avalanche, Earthquake, Bear Form, Fury Leap where all you really had to do was shift into bear, and walk/leap around the map.

LE is great about skipping the queue to the PoE walking simulator.

Hmm Lazy Builds...

Necro, Void Knight, and Paladin are probably the easiest.

Necro lets you summon a horde of minions to do your fighting for you.

VoidKnight has an autobomber build

Paladin Warpath with Smite procs is a similar 'hold button down and spin to win' build

Necro perma abomination. Now super lazy because of the dread shade rework.

Smite casts healing hands paladin is an option. Smite auto targets anything in range, if nothing is in range you move.

New fissure node for smite looks really nice.

Hold smite to cast and move, i have limited use of my left hand this was my first character when i got the game.

Storm bolt werebear druid
Rampage around spitting out storm bolts, rampage casts war cry , war cry cast maelstrom. Crits refill rage.
Tight quarters or a boss to burn down, dump a ton of tornadoes to cast stupid amounts of storm bolts.
