Offline not working?

What's going on why is offline mode not launching?

start the game in full offline mode (steam launcher) .. you cant switch to offline mode when you use the normal game and login servers are offline.

Go to Properties > General> Selected Launch Options, and change to full offline mode

Good luck. Offline play is bugged. I started offline play and all kinds of issues in game. I have skills on my bar that I can use that haven't been unlocked in my passive and skill screens yet. The key bindings to open the quest log and map don't work, no matter what you change them to. Channeling spells for my sorcerer are like trying to light a zippo lighter. Takes several tries to get the spell to go full bore. I have a feeling that this is on purpose, and these devs are going to end up doing what all of the others are doing. Require online in order to play, cash in on expensive DLC, and hamstring loot by making the cool visuals only available in the cash store. It's the same dog and pony show with these games. Take a great game and ruin it with greed.

Let me guess you loaded in a character that you last played a long time and the game failed to reset it properly because it so old. Either that or you edited/cheated the save file. <- As these are the only things that seen that can cause this to happen.

That's a problem on your side. I play true offline only and in the past 2 weeks leveled 2 characters from 1 to 50+ and no bugs of that type were encountered...

Offline is working just fine. Maybe check if your KB+mouse are actually working properly?

What? This is actually a thing? What is the point of even playing offline if you can't go back to your older characters to play them because they're all bugged out? I have several maxed out characters that I haven't touched in a long time. That's just bad business. I backed this game when it first announced and I have been with them through all of the developments. And along the way, I see a slow rolling downhill slide into ruination by greed with this game. I mean $60 for a cosmetics pack that you can only use if you play online? Really? They get your money, but you only get your paid product if you play online. Also bad business.

Offline is working just fine. Maybe check if your KB+mouse are actually working properly?

They are working fine. I can map the quest log keyboard key to another function and that function will work, but any key I try to map to the Quest Log won't open it. As for the mouse, works just fine. Channeling spells are hit and miss though. I will channel a spell, and it will flicker on and off, like a lightbulb with a short in it, and won't do any damage of any kind. I release the mouse button and try again, same thing. Release it again and try again, and it works.
